Extended use in the field on salt spreaders and other equipment by numerous towns and cities in the snow belt has once again proven the effectiveness of SALT-X to not only extend the useful life of equipment by 1/3, but also reduce downtime for repairs due to electrical failures and air brake failures (actual savings report available upon request). Extended usable life of equipment and less time spent repairing salt damage on equipment means more $aving$ of important dollar$. Military use of SALT-X on heavy equipment has shown similar saving$. SALT-X removes only the salt….it will not attack grease, oil, paint, fabrics, etc.

Use SALT-X on salt spreaders, all cars, trucks, lamp posts, construction equipment, boom trucks, booms, power poles, telephone booths, dock side equipment, cranes, containers, etc.

SALT-X may be applied using our AUTO-MIX UNIT, pressure washers (set a 2 0unces per gallon or 1-64 dilution) or tank sprayers. For spraying large numbers of parked equipment, you can even use a portable spray tank such as used in the lawn care business. When rinsing equipment, make sure to rinse underside thoroughly. Pay attention to cracks and crevices where salt can hide. When through rinsing, let equipment air dry. Rinse each time equipment is exposed to salt or on a regular basis as part of a preventive maintenance program.
